The NGO Bazaar on May 26, 2012
Hamar HoneySorry to say there is no honey being harvested in the Hamar region at this time. We have to wait for the end of the rainy season. So there will be no honey for sale at this bazaar.
Books for saleThe selection of books just keeps getting better. This month there are 261 books for sale. A full list of the books for sale this month is found at the end of this e-mail, just after the poem by Pat Ingoldsby. You are more than welcome to order any of the books for sale. Just send me an e-mail naming the books you want and I will set them aside so you can collect them at the Bazaar. As always one book is 60 Birr or you can buy 2 for 100 Birr. Avail of our special offer. For every three books donated get one book for free.
Hats from Arba Minch PrisonA great selection of traditional hats hand made in Arba Minch Prison are on sale. Each hat is 80 Birr or three for 200 Birr.
Directions to the NGO BazaarThe NGO Bazaar takes place in the Evangelical International College which is in an area called Sar Bet, just down from the African Union as you head towards Adam's Pavillion, the shopping centre. The College is opposite Novis Supermarket and King's Hotel. The Bazaar is a morning Bazaar only so all the stalls close at around midday.
As always all donations of books and jam jars are most welcome. All proceeds from the stall go to support scholarships for Hamar students.
Thanks as always for your great support for the Hamar stall. Please feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone you think would be interested in attending the Bazaar
Prayers and best wishes,
